Zaya Nurai Island is an award-winning luxury resort just off the coast of Saadiyat Island. Designed by New York studio, Dror, 14 villa units were delivered by Laing O-Rouke Modulor.
More than 90% of each villa was constructed in a controlled factory environment. The envelope, interiors and M&E were completed off-site with only fixtures and fittings being installed in-situ.
Hadley Industries FZE provided Laing O Rouke with 7,700M2 of pre-panelised bolted wall structure. This panelised frame reduced the build time and significantly lowered unit build cost.
Unique to Hadley in the UAE, panelised systems are being cited as a fundamental building system in the future. Designed for the off-site and DfMA markets, Hadley off-site panelised and pre-assembled wall units are the future of the façade.
